Online games are rocking our world with their unprecedented moves. Fortnite stole the limelight by organizing a World Cup. According to the official data, 40 million players from 30 different countries involved in the cut-throat competition for 10 weeks to seal a place in winners’ chart. The gaming giant showered a whopping amount of $30 million on the winners. Jaden Ashman was one of them.
The 15-year-old boy from Essex (U.K.) was all crazy about the online games. He used to spend a major chunk of his time playing the digital games. The teenager was so engrossed in his passion that his studies got buried under the weight of games. As a result, his grades struck the bottom line. His mother, Lisa Dallman was quick enough to see the decline in his performance in academics. She grew tensed about it and decided to take up the matter with him. The duo fell in a heated argument which raged Lisa to a great extent. In that fit of rage, she threw his Xbox out.

But it could not dampen the gaming spirits of Jaden. He went ahead and put his might to improve his gaming skills. To his delight, he came across the Fortnite World Cup one day. He decided to give it a chance as he had been playing the game for 2 years.
Finally, the World Cup kicked off in full pomp and show. Jaden put his might and went on conquering the odds one after another. His winning spree continued and he reached the top levels of the event. But he could not bag the top position. He finished second with his Dutch game partner-Dave Jong. The duo won $2.25 million as their cash prize. The amount would be split between the two players.
Jaden (WolfiezGG) and Dave (Rojo11) lost the cup to the Norwegian player Emil Bergquist Pedersen (Nyhrox) and Austrian player David W (Aqua) by 3 points. The Brit and his mate earned 47 points whereas the winners managed to collect 51 points in the clash.
Lisa was thrilled to know the achievement of her son. She was proud of him and accepted his eSports career.
