Airline Employee Went The Extra Mile To Unite Kid With Lost Toy
The employee did some extra hard work to return a 2-year-old kid’s Buzz light year toy after he mistakenly left it behind on a flight while leaving. Hagen Davis, from California, was a super fan of that Buzz toy and was immensely heartbroken when he realized that he had misplaced his favorite toy whilst traveling to Texas with his family. But fortunately, the toy was picked up by an amicable and considerate fellow being who happened to be an airline employee at the airport.
Ramp agent, Jason Hamm was able to crack up the details of that little one by matching his name with the one which had been scrawled on the foot of the toy and from the reservation they had done and made sure that the toy reached its owner safely inside an adorable looking box with a sweet letter which detailed the thrilling journey the astronaut took all this while. Along with the letter, there were some pictures of the Toy Story hero which were taken at various spots like on the runway, in the cockpit, next to the plane engine, and all over the airport.
Hagen’s mum, Ashley Davis shared this amazing experience on social media regarding the warm gesture of that employee. She appreciated how the guy is a complete stranger, went overboard just to return her son’s favorite toy. Ashley was seven months pregnant at that point in time and being able to handle everything along with pregnancy was a tremendous task. The toy went completely out of sight after attending such a tiring and stressful flight, following COVID-19 norms side by side along with attending to her child.
So, in comparison to all this, taking care of a small toy seemed pretty trivial. While they were traveling, Hagen realized that Buzz was not with him and got so devastated about not being able to find him. He had a bedroom full of action figures, Buzz and Woody pajamas, and watches all four movies multiple times each week so not being able to find his only favorite toy was a huge disappointment for him. The only option the parents were left with was to reclaim the toy through the official process but unfortunately, the process cost them more than the price of the toy itself.
Nevertheless, the family returned to their home in Elk Grove, Sacramento. Around a week later they received an email from Jason which mentioned that he had found Hagen’s toy so he wanted the details of their residence. The delivery was received so quickly owing to the fact that Texas was in the midst of a huge freeze. The kid was so overwhelmed and excited when he received the much-awaited parcel. It was decorated with cartoons from Toy story. And ever since then, Hagen adored the toy much more.
