Engineer Created A Working Mini Baby Yoda Hover Pod

Fiction June, 30, 2025

A hardware engineer named Adam Woodworth in the love of Baby Yoda tried to make a tribute and did something extremely extraordinary. He made the youngling fly in the air with full confidence. More importantly, the design needed to accomplish this act appeared to take “Jedi-level” persistence. Adam uploaded the video on YouTube and showcased the baby flying in the air along with techniques to build it. The video came via Gizmodo.

However, the video only witnessed a few seconds of the mighty fight in the front portion of the video. Nevertheless, those few seconds were enough to blow the minds of the audience. The flight took action as intended and Woodworth was definitely successful in his attempt. One could easily observe the aerial function of the pod working magnificently. Writing in the description of the video, Woodworth mentioned that this manufacture tested his endurance and vision at times in order to get all the gadgets to fit into one little shell.

As simple as it looked, the assembly of the gadget was not so easy. It gave the impression that Woodworth only needed to stick a drone onto a Hasbro toy, but the actual scenario was entirely different and difficult from this. Indeed, he had to develop a copy of the pod which was based on the new mission Fleet line; that was “out of polycarbonate; a transparent amorphous thermoplastic.” Highlighting the difficulties to make the pod, Woodworth in his video mentioned that the hardest part of all was to get the prop spacing to line up correctly. He included that there was “perhaps” a millimeter (.04 inches) of space between every one of the case’s four turning edges.

The challenges were not over yet. Woodworth also had to manage space for a flight controller and a battery in the small area. But ultimately all the hard work paid off. The fruitful success of Woodworth’s creation was seen as a retail-ready prototype. According to Woodworth, even though it fitted the 6” Black Series Din Djarin, it was an inch wider and claimed that it was just a one-off. With his heart filled with joy, Woodworth mentioned that he made this toy just for fun. Also, it was in the memory of one of his favorite bits from the movie Star Wars.

Hence indicating that all of us should probably wait until more Mandalorian build videos from Woodworth’s side came online. In addition to it, wait for somebody from Disney to dodge into this “massive merch alert.”
