Gamer Nails Through The Fire And The Flames On Guitar Hero At Record Speed
William Fox, 22-year-old gamer, from London exemplified dizzying dexterity to establish a new speed record on Guitar Hero. He achieved the seemingly impossible target by smashing Dragon Force classic “Through The Fire and The Flames” at 165 percent speed. He was able to play the toughest song on the game without any errors and with an enhanced speed of 15 percent from the previous record. He started playing ‘Guitar Hero ӏӏ at the age of eight and pursued his goal of becoming one of the very best.
Though the target set by him was difficult, he was focused and determined to achieve it. He used to practice it for five hours a day and spent almost two months attempting to beat the record. Finally, he achieved his goal that excited and motivated his followers to next level. Following this, he shared his journey and revealed the fact that there were definitely some physical nerves towards the end. However, he was least bothered and the only mindset he had was either to complete the target or to spend more time on journey with his friends.
Moving on, he added that missing towards the end was upsetting and he did it twice before getting to it. But at the end of the day, it was a video game and he was just trying to put a smile on faces of people. One of the professional Twitch streamers posted on his handle ‘GHAddict’ that he was only able to achieve this world first with a lot of practice. A common riposte to this is all the time spent practicing could be put to better use learning how to play a proper guitar. However, William played the real guitar for the band Thousand Thoughts making such snide jibes embarrassingly misdirected his case.
There was no doubt that William’s was clearly a staggering feat. In one of his interviews, he said that people around him suggested him to learn playing a real guitar. But he admitted that “Of course you will never be able to please everyone”. In addition, he considered himself lucky enough to be doing what he loves and nothing else mattered. He further added that Guitar Hero really helped him in terms of dexterity but it could not teach you music theory. Moreover, playing that song on real guitar was physically impossible. Finally, he concluded by stating that he loved both the real and virtual guitar and would continue to strive to be better.
