When it seemed like we have tried every activity that emerged as trending in the lockdown, we decided to give ourselves a break but never thought that it would be rejuvenating only for a moment. So, we allowed our creative juices to flow and came up with new ideas to keep ourselves busy and productive.

One guy’s idea has impressed quite a few mainly because it revolves around the popular TV show, Friends. But even if you have not followed that show, you will appreciate his efforts in this amazing project.

Chino Yuseco, 34, works as a Property Master and has contributed to various international films and TV shows. But when work opportunities for him saw a decline, he ensured that his creativity still flows and started working on some new projects all by himself.
That’s when he built this mini exact replica of Monica Geller’s apartment from Friends. It’s brilliant!

“I’ve always been fascinated with toys and miniatures. I attended a toy convention with a friend back in December 2019 and saw a guy selling dioramas. I was about to buy one when I thought maybe I should try making it myself for half the price. So, I did some research, watched YouTube tutorials, and attempted to make my first build,” he shared his story.

He found this interesting and engaged himself in creating such pieces. “Fortunately, I had a lot of fun and it turned out great so I started building more and more. And in the process, I discovered my new passion. Being a super Friends fan, my goal definitely was to build something Friends related,” he explained.

The entire process of building such a detailed miniature space took some time but it was all worth it in the end.

“I started the build on July 19 and finished it on September 23. It was definitely a lot of research, building, painting, and sculpting,” Chino revealed. “I cut and burned myself loads building this apartment so I had to take breaks in between. I probably took a total of 4 weeks in between to rest.”

This mind-blowing creation brought in some challenges for him but he managed to pull through them and a successful project emerged after all the hard work he put in for months.

This 34-year-old shared, “Honestly, the most difficult part for me was measuring everything. I researched non-stop for weeks, watched loads of episodes and took millions of screenshots to get them as accurate as possible.”

“Of course, not everything was on the spot, but I tried my best. The original couch I made was a disaster so I ended up ordering one from a miniature shop.”

The details are stunning and everything seems impeccable to us! The miniature version of Monica’s apartment has brightened up our gloomy days.

Chino has even planned his upcoming projects and has decided to work on Joey’s flat next. A mini Central Perk coffee shop is not too far away now. He is all set to recreate the replica of the entire set of the Friends. Miniature Friends – coming soon!
