Marvel Artist Shows Unused Mash-Up Concept Of Doctor Strange/Iron Man
The speculations spiked up during the production process of Avengers: Infinity War. There a concept drew up for Doctor Iron or Iron Strange whatever suits more and fans like. Stephen Strange in Tony Star’s Iron Man Armor not only sounds cool but also looks as cool as it sounds. Even the Marvel Studios artist Phil Saunders recently posted an image of the Doctor Iron or Iron Strange as you would like to call on his Instagram account.
The suit looks cool and the artist wrote “Iron Strange – an idea that was cut from the script of Avengers: Infinity War. On the Q-Ship, Tony Stark was going to transfer his armor to Strange to protect him from Ebony Maw’s torture needles.” The amalgam of Doctor Strange/Iron Man was initially being supposed to be a part of Avengers: Infinity War. You guys can check out the cool art concept on Phil Saunders’s Instagram page.
As mentioned Tony Stark would have transferred his suit to Doctor Strange after Thanos’ minions would have attacked them and kidnaped Doctor Strange. The suit would have protected Doctor Strange from Ebony Maw’s torture needles. But this art concept was dropped sue to various screenplay reasons while the production was ironing out the details of the Avengers: Infinity War.
The armor for Doctor Strange is groovier as the Iron Man’s arc reactor in the middle of the suit is now replaced with Doctor Strange’s The Eye of Agamotto, which is known as the Time Stone by everyone. The armor has more of purple and silver for Doctor Strange than red and golden of Iron Man. The armor will definitely by more high tech and cool.
Doctor Strange and Iron Man have always been similar ones. One of the reasons they did not get along with each other. Both of them were rich and top in their respective fields. They both have been similar archetypes. They both have a similar story of their origin in terms of wealth and work. Though Stark had a bit more than Strange but Strange was also well-off. Both were insanely gifted with success, looks, and arrogance.
The similarities do not end here. Their stories and journeys were almost the same. Both faced unexpected tragedies and were physically impaired but saved at the end. Tony Stark by his gift of science and Doctor Strange by the gift of magic. After the tragedies, both came out as changed men with more knowledge and experience. Both valued the small important moments more.
One more very important thing o consider is their pretty looks and facial hair when it comes to similarities. Both of them have women drooling over them. Well, we never know what Marvel Studios might present. Also, the unused ideas can always be used in carton series to just give them a shot. Though Doctor Strange looks cooler in his cape one should not miss him in armor.
