Mom Crochets Cute Outfits To Dress Newborns Like A Disney Character

Fiction July, 02, 2025

She designed a jasmine outfit for a girl and her mother. Margaret crocheted the baby’s clothes, and she paid attention to every minute but vital detail. The hat resembled Jasmine’s updo with the jewelry headband, and her shoes were flawless. Another one was a small guy costumed as Carl from the Disney Pixar film Up! The hat was exactly what the grumpy but lovely elderly man wore when he flew his home with balloons to his desired location.

Margaret said she was motivated to create this collection of Disney crochet garments because she was a big admirer of Disney, notably her “lifelong love of all things”. Margaret’s son was dressed as King Triton. She mentioned to the media that this was one of her favorite dresses she has ever designed.

Margaret mentioned in an Instagram post that when she first found out she was pregnant, she thought she wanted a baby girl to dress up in all the wonderful glittery outfits and of course have a stunning mermaid photo shoot. But she was born to be a boy mother, so here’s her King Triton, she wrote in the Instagram caption. Because mom is so excellent at crocheting, Halloween is certain to be a lot of fun at the Domingo family. One year, the entire family dressed up as Moana characters in custom crocheted caps she created herself. It made the entire family look cute.

Aladdin was another favorite of Margaret’s. Again, she considered every aspect from the film that all the spectators fell in love with, demonstrating her devotion to the Disney franchise and storytelling. She even crocheted a light to go with the attire and putting her son on the carpet added to the enchantment. She has been very grateful and happy to produce these clothes for other moms who wanted to add a little Disney enchantment to their newborn photographs, Margaret told the media. She has crocheted Disney dresses that allow other parents to experience the wonder that comes alive with their own photo shoot.

Margaret marked her son’s first birthday with a cake smash picture shoot, which resulted in a fantastic photo collection. She took the cuteness a notch higher by dressing her son up like one of their favorite Disney Pixar characters, Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. Every detail on the suit was present, and the cap brought everything together. Not all of Disney’s best were her most recent creations and characters; the original black-and-white Mickey Mouse, for example, was a beloved character. Margaret was able to crochet a costume for a newborn to dress up as Mickey. The railroad engineer hat completed the look!

Margaret said she usually enjoyed working on unique requests and get quite enthusiastic when she was requested to produce an outfit that she had never made before. She hopes to “finally get through ALL of the Disney princesses!”

Anyone who loved the idea and wanted to dress their children as Disney characters must reach out to Margaret via Instagram or to her shop. Margaret and The Yarn Mermaid might be found on Etsy and Instagram, where she has documented her pregnancy with weekly crocheted fruits.
