This NASA Engineer Built The World’s Biggest Super Soaker And It Is Unbelievably Powerful

Science June, 30, 2025

Mark Rober, the man behind the super soaker is a former NASA engineer. The super soaker they made is 7 feet long but despite the size, it works the same way. The super soaker is now in Guinness World Record for the largest Super Soaker ever.

They have used high-pressure nitrogen gas instead of air pressure to propel watery ammunition. The high-pressure nitrogen gas powers the super soaker to 2400 PSI. It helps in making it eight times more powerful and 60 times better than the original super soaker.

The creator also said that it is able to fire water and the speed is 272mph. And that makes it faster than the speediest F1 car in history.

Hence, the force is large enough to blast a watermelon or your exercise balls.
