The duo, Gennadiy Kocherga along with his son Sergey spent more than half a year in turning their ride into their very personal version of a bot, just like the popular Transformer movie franchise. A clip from this program, the Oryol stunt show held in Russia is doing the rounds of the internet where the vehicle is seen standing upright like a bot and firing towards the open sky. The scene shows the duo proudly boasting their creation and the audience standing completely surprised and awestruck.

“It appears to be a world-class vehicle, it can drive and when needed also shoot. Also, its functions are the same as seen in the movies and cartoon. Our target is to transform two more cars by next year based on the same parameters. Besides, this we have a lot of other fun and quirky ideas as well,” said Mr. Kochega. This particular transformer is called the Optimus Gennadievich Praimov and the Russian Lada was selected for the purpose because it has a no-frills feature mentioned Sergey.

The original movie franchise pits robots that work towards protecting our planet Earth from an alien robot attack. These invaders are disguised as cars and other vehicles- a very villainous and shape-transforming trickery. These Autobots are guided by the leader of their pack Captain Optimus Prime who helps the human race face and safeguards themselves from the evil plans of the counter captain, Megatron.

The father-son duo has taken their proud creation to several cities and towns across their country, Russia and is extremely eager and desperate to start working on project two. It would be interesting to see whether these machines, just like the ones in the movie, are useful for the humankind or not. Whatever it may be, we wish them good luck for their future assignments.
