In an interview, Leonardo DiCaprio revealed an incident that occurred on the set of "Django Unchained." He revealed that glass shattered in his hands during the filming of a scene. Despite the cut, DiCaprio continued to act. Everyone on site was stunned when the director shouted cut and he exposed his bleeding hands.

There are a few performers who are so committed to their roles that they would give it their all every time they play, regardless of what is going on around them. One of such enthusiastic performers is Leonardo DiCaprio. There is no question about it. Cynthia McFadden was doing an interview with Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, and Quentin Tarantino, the film's director.

DiCaprio recounted what happened on the set of "Django Unchained" during the interview. The movie's main scene was rather terrifying as the scene showed him as a completely different character. Although the scene tried to show him in a negative light, DiCaprio's realization made it worthwhile to see and you couldn't stop yourself from appreciating him.

DiCaprio portrays Calvin Candie, a slave owner, in the film, which is based on a love tale. It's the first time he's played a villain rather than a hero in a film. He was cast in a role that was diametrically opposed to who he is in real life and what roles he has typically played during his acting career. Calvin Candie, he claimed, was a hedonistic, bigoted, and narcissistic figure. It was the most heinous character he has ever encountered in his whole acting career.

It was difficult for DiCaprio to play a character like Calvin Candie. He admitted that he was having a lot of trouble with the job and that he couldn't do it properly. Even though his co-stars were cheering him on, he was really struggling to do justice to the role. Samuel L. Jackson, one of his co-stars, was so engrossed in the character that it was like walking on air for him. Samuel approached Leonardo, telling him that he was used to such roles, and gave him some advice.

Leonardo was ready to take a shot after being inspired by Jackson. One of his hands was injured by the glass while he was doing his part at the dinner table, and he began to bleed out. Even though he was bleeding profusely, he continued to play his part since he was deeply immersed in the character and didn't want to break it for the sake of anyone.

Leonardo's cut was not noticed until the very end of the scene. DiCaprio remarked that observing the crew members' reactions was more fun than delivering a flawless shot. During the interview, he emulated Jamie's expression while narrating the story.

The scene became one of the film's unplanned scenes. Carnage can be seen in the movie just after the bleeding scene of DiCaprio. It wasn't surprising since when Tarantino directs a film, everyone anticipates a massacre. He is constantly chastised for his harsh depictions of scenes. Tarantino's films aren't complete without a little bloodshed, and "Django Unchained" is no exception.

Despite this, the director is pleased with his methods. He believes that everything he depicts in his films has a cultural history. He doesn't want to sully history by sugarcoating the events. He even went so far as to say that he is not responsible for what people do after seeing the movie because he does not encourage these kinds of behavior outside the fictional world.

Later, Foxx recommended that people see the film before drawing any conclusions or forming bad opinions about it. The film is about a man and a woman's love story, not about violence. The film is available for viewing on OTT platforms such as Netflix.
