$200,000 Pokémon Card Lost In The Mail Turns Up After Five Months
In March 2020, YouTuber Leonhart felt a mixture of emotions when his unique Pokémon card got lost in the mail. He came across a holographic Charizard card from 1999. He decided to send it to the California-based PSA Card for authentication and grading. And he shared this news with his fans through his YouTube channel. But after he sent the card in the mail his card got lost in the mail and the YouTuber was sad with the news. But determined as well to find the card as it was a unique and precious card.
He shared that he never puts much effort into finding things and if he cannot find his socks in the first ten minutes, he gives up on that. But he never gave up on his card for himself and his fans. He tried to get the bottom of it when the card never reached its intended destination.
He even shared his experience in the video of what he did to find his card. He made some phone calls and then chased the leads that he could get. He even drove to Texas at the distribution center which was the last known location of his card. He was so desperate for his card that he even made pleas to his local congressman. But luck was not on his side and he could no longer get any leads for his card.
He tried for months and eventually gave up on his little Charizard tressure. But October 14th was a life-changing day for him. Fate finally took a turn in his favor and he received an email from PSA. Through the email, the California-based PSA Card for authentication and grading informed that they had received his Charizard card. It was not the only good news he received. He also received the news of the evaluation of his card. The card’s value was appreciated during the adventure and was now close to $200,000.
Now it is still unknown what happened to the cars in that period of five months. But whatever happened, happened in favor of Leonhart. The YouTuber is as confused as anyone on that issue. But is happy that he was reunited with his card and he received a gift for his patience, hope, and efforts.
