Buying second-hand products online might be a little tricky but once you know the ins and outs of this area of shopping things feel easier. However it’s not every day that people find something heartwarming sent with the product.

We only expect our package to be delivered to us properly and in good condition. Mostly people are satisfied with their purchase of second-hand goods and at other times they are pleasantly satisfied.

This gaming enthusiast purchased a second hand Nintendo DS but discovered something more with that computer console when it reached his doorstep.

A 23-year-old person named Janie had this console for more than 10 years before they thought it needed to find a new home. However Janie was not bidding goodbye to this memorable thing without adding a special touch to it.

This amazing person wrote a delightful note and penned down the connection they built with this gaming console over these years.

The note read “Hey there! Thanks for buying.

“I got this DS as a birthday gift when I was 10. I had no idea who Link or Zelda were when I got it but I sure did by the end! And it travelled with me for lots of long rides. I’m 23 now and hoping someone else gains the same enjoyment that I did. Happy gaming/collecting! (or reselling… times are tough lol!).”

The letter was signed: “- Janie.”

The receiver of this package and the kind-hearted note was moved by such a thoughtful gesture and posted the picture of the letter on Reddit. They wrote “Received a wholesome note with this DS I bought online.”

This Reddit post garnered over 88000 upvotes and loads of comments where people appreciated Janie for leaving such a heartwarming note with the DS.

One person commented “What a friendly and understanding note. I hope to be more like Janie.”

“I hope Janie is doing well” a second one said. Many others called Janie a “good person”. The comments were filled with people recalling their childhood days with such computer consoles and how valuable the possession was to them.

A person wrote “My mum got me this DS when I was 11! They only had so many per store and she waited for hours to get it. She’s gone now but it’s a wonderful memory I have. This DS is special. Enjoy!”

“Oh man I had this DS as a kid. I don’t know where it is now but I really wish I could find it. Good memories” another reminisced.
