Its platform has a number of marketing tools that help you grow your list of subscribers collect and nurture leads and in the end get loyal repeat customers.

In this detailed GetResponse review we'll look at this well-known email marketing service and go over all of its best features. Then you can make your decision if this is the best solution for all your 2024 email marketing plans or not.

1. Easy Setup

It's easy to sign up for GetResponse. You just give GetResponse your name and email address and it sends you an email with a blue button that says "Activate My Account." Once you click the verification link you can continue registering by giving your mobile phone number so you can get a verification code by text.

Its interface is very easy. There is a tab on the left called "Quick Actions." It will get you where you want to go quickly. You can create a form a newsletter a landing page add contacts and set up an autoresponder.

GetResponse gives you many ways to build an email list of subscribers. This is probably the best feature that makes it very convenient to use. If your list of contacts isn't too long you can just type or copy and paste email addresses.

2. Starting Marketing Campaign

Since we last looked at GetResponse nothing has changed about how an email campaign is made. You can use the drag-and-drop editor or the HTML source editor to make a newsletter. The second option is good for people who are confident enough to write their own code.

You can start from scratch or use one of the hundreds of templates that come with the Email Creator Tool. GetResponse has updated its list of templates and added a new marketing automation template to make it easier for people to start a campaign.

When you preview your newsletter you can see how it looks on a desktop computer as well as in a number of browsers email programs and mobile devices. We liked that you can scroll through the newsletter on a fake mobile device which gives you a good idea of what your readers will see.

3. Third-Party Integrations

GetResponse has an integration with the standard Salesforce Lightning Professional platform that lets you use its customer relationship management features. Since GetResponse is focused on all types of businesses integration with third-party options is very good. Also the integration that comes with Salesforce is pretty solid.

It lets you change the overview of your sales pipeline so when you look at your pipeline in Stage you can move deals between stages by dragging and dropping them. You can keep track of deals and stages and add notes and reminders for other team members if you need to.

GetResponse can also work with WordPress. This lets you create a page in the GetResponse landing page editor choose a page in WordPress assign your directory name and then publish the page. By connecting your landing page to WordPress you can create pages for webinars and promotions and use pop-ups to get more people talking.

4. Pricing and Plans

When it comes to pricing GetResponse wants to appeal to as many customers as possible by giving them a wide range of options. With some limited features you can use it as a free email marketing tool. If you want to use its paid versions then the Basic plan costs only $15 per month and lets you reach up to 1000 subscribers which is the cheapest. But that tier doesn't have access to the new Autofunnel feature which is useful enough that even small businesses might find it appealing.

Still the Basic tier gives you some options such as the ability to add more subscribers in small price blocks. Those would cost $25 per month for a small business with 2500 contacts. That is one of the cheapest prices we've seen for contact numbers like that. It's an even better deal when you consider that GetResponse doesn't put any limits on how many emails you can send. This is something that more and more email marketing services do. For 100000 contacts this contact expansion in the Basic plan costs a maximum of $450 per month.

What Makes it Unique?

GetResponse has a drag-and-drop editor or an HTML source editor that you can use to make email newsletters with just a few clicks. You can also use one of the hundreds of templates that have been made by professionals. When you're done making your newsletter the software lets you preview it on a desktop to see how it looks. You can also look at the versions for mobile and web browsers. It also gives you a spam score which is helpful because you might use words that email programs mark as suspicious without knowing it.

You can choose to send your newsletters right away or set them up to go out at a certain time. You can also use the program's "Time Travel" feature to send the email based on the local time of the recipients.
