A strange incident happened in Paris where a person was arrested as he was found wearing wrist blades which matched a lot to the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

Those mechanical blades were 12-inch long and were hidden in the jacket that the person was wearing. After the police investigation, certain details came to light. The 27-year-old man arrested was Thomas G and the police located him roaming around Saint-Lazare station in Paris.

The elements of his “outfit” included a black hood, a backpack with military print and a black mask. he also had sunglasses on. All these details were revealed after proper inspection.

His blades were identified the police and they had to take immediate action to avoid any mishappening in the city. When they ran after G, he tried to escape, but the police chased him and he was finally taken into custody. Those sharp objects on his wrist were detached as soon as he was caught.

During an interrogation session, G told the police that those blades were made at home and were “unstable”.

The police had to be very careful while removing those “weapons” from his body as they could be activated anytime during the process. Fortunately, they were successful in unfastening those blades without triggering them.

G revealed further details during an interview but did not admit replicating Assassin’s Creed elements instead he told that he followed cosplay. However, people who know Assassin’s Creed really well can relate his blades to the ones used by the characters in the game. The working and execution in both the cases are identical, pointing towards G’s inspiration.

The investigations continue to find out the real reason behind G carrying such “dangerous” arms with him.

When one is highly into a game, getting influenced by the characters is very easy. But keeping your real life away from that influence is crucial or else, you might end up in a situation like Thomas G.
