Imbibing and emulating their heroic deeds in the real-life, an anonymous man is strolling through the Santiago alleys to illuminate the might of humanity against the mongering monster of COVID-19.

The city of Santiago (Chile) is seeing the superhero tales springing out of the books and comics to festoon the dingy nook and corners of the city supporting poor. The credit of this vibrant transformation goes to a man. The noble soul is rendering his selfless service of humanity to society with his skin breathing under the guise. He does not wish to pull the spotlights on him while delivering the social good around the city.

To make his pious intentions work around, he takes to the streets, donning the much-celebrated grabs and look of Batman. He drives out to look for the homeless people shivering on the streets with empty stomachs. On grabbing the nerve-wracking sight of the people in need, he pulls over and hands out plates of simmering food from the boot of his car to them. Gradually, the aroma of his humane act wafts around, alluring the seekers of humanity to salvage their lives wedged between the teeth of the pandemic.

After a few moments, one can see a beeline of hungry souls waiting to grab hold of their plates behind his car. Not just that, his charismatic looks adds to their joy. They keep their beset hovering in the minds at bay for a few moments and cherish their meal moment with their superhero. Well, Batman appears on time and regularly to keep up his commitments to make this world a better place to live.

His free food distribution initiative goes a long way in soothing the severe economic and health circumstances around the country. The country is witnessing a burst in the number of unemployed souls sitting around. The unemployment rate has touched the ceiling of 12%, the worst ever in the country’s past economic decade. As a result, several people have lost their jobs, living and accommodation to the raging pandemic blues. The scenario slips down further, nearing the gloomy end, in the suburbs and rural areas. They are going through the roughest patch to withstand the heat of pandemic.

Taking on the appalling conditions, he shared, “Look around you, see if you can dedicate a little time, a little food, a little shelter, a word sometimes of encouragement to those who need it”.

He keeps his Batman look on while delivering the plates owing to his good intentions. The superhero in the pandemic aims to unite people toiling in the whirlwinds of agonies. Not just that, he also looks forward to taking people to happy times by harnessing the fantasy bits for them.

To his delight, his aims have seen the light and woo hearts around. One of the receivers said, “It is appreciated…from one human to another”.
