The Incredible Efforts Of Twitch Streamers To Save Australia
Despite such an upsetting certainty, people throughout the world are doing what they can in order to help. The youth are bringing in koalas in cars to save them from the flames. Zookeepers are spending more time to make sure that their animals are safe.
Amidst of all this, a number of Twitch streamers took part in fundraising. Most notably, Loserfruit, Fasffy and Crayator pronounced that it was their duty to save their nation in any way possible. They chose to host a 24-hour Twitch stream for charity, with the motto of raising $15Kaud. They couldn’t be happier when they ended up raising nearly 20 times more than what they thought of.
So proud of everyone involved & the community for raising $318K in just 36 hours!!! Special thanks to @Loserfruit for leading & @Fasffy @crayator for holding the fort!

The trio of streamers fulfilled their primary target in the first hour of the stream. Actually they succeeded to hit $1,000 in four minutes. Before 52 minutes the $15K objective was achieved and there was no intention of them to hold back. Many guests joined the stream including BazzaGazza, GraceWatkins , Lazerbeam and many more.
The stream didn’t stop for at least 36 hours. $200K stretch goal was covered in less than 24 hours. The small army of streamers was substituted now and then so that they could take breaks and read out donations. To pass the time they also played games like Fortnite and The Sims 4, talked with viewers, taking dared from the chat and spoke about the destructive impact of the fires they were attempting to help fight.
Thank you everyone for the support. Such a huge impact made and I'm so grateful for everyone's contribution to the cause

They highest amount they received as donation was from fellow Twitch streamer Dakotaz. He donated $14,000 and not only stopped there. He later donated $7000. Finally they were able to collect $318,511AUD. The money is to be divided between the NSW Rural Fire Service, the Australian Red Cross and Wires, a wildlife rescue foundation.
Grace Watkins, the co-founder of Click Management told that how proud she was of their combined efforts. “The stream over the weekend really highlights the power of influencers and their ability to mobilize their audiences to make a real impact,” she said. “To see them use this power, and come together for good on a global scale, highlights youth leadership at its best.”
