Gaming July, 08, 2025

You cannot start 2024 very casually. Grand Theft Auto VI is one of the most renowned games that will be released in 2025. several amazing exciting games have been scheduled for release in 2019. Some of these games are exciting and have been long-awaited by fans. They have been waiting over 20 years to return to the worlds and characters they loved in the past series.

Please note that this list only includes games with an official release date or duration. That means that some of the most well-known games such as the next Elden Ring DLC which is currently planned to be released in 2024 will not be available. However we will update this article when more games are confirmed for release in 2024. After covering this let’s look at the best gaming released in 2024.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

The games have lost some popularity since Forgotten Sands the final central stage in the Prince of Persia series was released in 2010. However Prince of Persia: The Lost Crow may return. The series is currently not getting popular enough even before acting as an essential aspect of Ubisoft’s portfolio. It is a basic 2D platformer which appears to be the ideal match for a Metroidvania-style discovery and growth. It also shows the basic ideas of Jordan Mechnner’s original 1989 work.

The composer of fantastic video games Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends is Ubisoft an expert in the business. The gameplay in the action full game is sharp. It includes adversaries and Ubisoft Montpellier the creator of the fantastic video games Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends is in excellent hands with the business.

The gameplay in the action-packed game is sharp. It includes adversaries with intricate attack patterns. Challenging navigation is also present which will test your reflexes. The battle itself is quick-paced as well. We can only hope that the last crown will ignite the passion that this once dominant brand possessed.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

In the next Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth chapter in Like a Dragon/yakuza from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio which is one of the best ongoing series in gaming yakuza similar to dragon protagonist Ichiban Kasuga who with the help of the series fix Kazuma Kiryu is battling illness in addition to looking for his estranged mother in Hawaii.

Like a dragon’s turn-based combat Yakuza is back but with several modifications such as more flexible character movement all over rounds. The major draw is seeing how the Like a Dragon tale develops but plenty of entertaining mini-games and extracurricular activities can be found in the tropical surroundings. This is becoming increasingly exciting as the series continues especially with the addition of Daniel Dae Kim and Danny Trejo to the English voice cast.

Tekken 8

The main characteristic of Tekken 8 that seems to distinguish it from other successful long-running games in the category is its narrative mode. Franchise icons Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima engage in a dramatic city-leveling fight in the opening seconds setting the tone for a campaign that appears to be everything from an afterthought. One of the series’ best qualities has always been its continuous plot and it looks like its eight chapters will take it to new heights.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

The Batman Arkham series created by Rocksteady is one of the greatest superhero games ever. With some of the oddest characters in the DC universe the suicide squad killing the Justice League appears to be a change from Arkham's slow-moving rooted gameplay offering a faster-paced more open-world combat experience.

Even in video games casting Superman The Flash and the rest of the Justice League as the primary enemies is hardly a novel idea. However going up against wholesome heroes like Harley Quinn and company should be a lot of fun in the setting of a large-scale third-person action game especially given the devs’ track record in creating the fighting.

Helldivers 2

The fact that Helldivers 2 is a natural evolution of the First Helldivers is what makes it so fascinating. Although the first game was a top-down multiplayer shooter the sequel keeps functionality for four-player cooperative play but switches to a broader third-person shooter viewpoint. The stratagem system which allows players to raise a variety of weapons and devices from hell divers' command to assist in destroying hordes of competitors keeps the gameplay tactical but hectic.

Since the first Helldivers focused so much on teamwork playing with friends became quite addicting and the sequel seeks to convey the same feelings. Although the game appears to be very different from its predecessor Arrowhead Games will undoubtedly stick to the fundamental idea that made the first such a legendary favorite.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

The highly anticipated final Fantasy VII remake was published in 2025 an astounding five years after being first teased with considerable hoopla at E3. The game was highly worth the wait. Square Enix changed the gameplay and updated the graphics of their original PS1 classic building upon it in fundamental ways. The fact that these changes didn’t detract from or drastically change the original experience made the game unique. Put another way it succeeds in being a wonderfully honest yet enormously diverse remake. After Cloud Aerith trifa and Barrett leave Midgar in Final Fantasy VII rebirth the tale takes shape for those who played the original game. Fans’ favorites Zack Cait Sith and Vincent appeared in the sequel’s trailers. From the sounds of things Square Enix will be paying honor to their original masterpiece by carefully recreating it for a new generation of gamers to enjoy.

Homeworld 3

It appears that 2024 will be the year that long-dormant television shows come to life and Homeworld is the franchise that has slept the longest. Since the release of homeworld3 which is coming soon back in 2003 a lot has happened in gaming. Why therefore is now the ideal moment for the iconic RTS series to return?

Technology is the answer plain and simple. Rob Cunningham co-founder of Blackbird CEO and creative director of the original games says in a new behind-the-scenes film that “Homeworld 3 was our original dream of Homeworld 2” but that back in the early aughts PCs were just not strong enough to support that vision. In other words fans have been waiting more than 20 years for grand epic space battles and now gaming consoles are more than capable of providing them.
